Matrices for Management (Math 1310) Weekly Groups
 (2011/2012 Regular Session)

Group 1:  Wednesdays 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Start Date (Term 2):  Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2012.
Cost:  $375 + GST = $393.75

Please note that this group is intended for students taking Math 1310 by distance/online. The distance course teaches the same topics as the classroom lecture course, but in a very different order.  Only students taking the course by distance will be admitted to this group.

The $393.75 tutoring fee is due at your first tutoring session.  You can pay by cash or cheque made payable to "Grant's Tutoring".

For that payment you will receive:

  • Grant's Self-Help Study Book
    This is an $80 value, and they are yours for FREE!  You will receive the book at the first tutoring session.  Please do not purchase the book yourself at the Copy Centre.  If you want the books before the first tutoring session, contact Grant to arrange that.

    • A total of 8 to 10 Weekly Tutoring Sessions
    There will be 4 or 5 consecutive weekly tutoring sessions, then a break for a week or two during the Midterm Exam period, followed by 4 or 5 more consecutive weekly tutoring sessions building up to the Final Exam.  Grant always reserves the right to adjust the tutoring schedule as he sees fit to ensure the group covers all the material in a timely fashion.

  • Audio Recordings of every tutoring session
    Each week, you will receive an mp3 file of that week's tutoring session ready to upload to your computer or mp3 player to listen to the weekly tutoring session as many times as you wish.

If you wish to register for more than one group, please read the info for all the groups you are interested in first, then, you can register for all of them at one time.  Please note that there is no guarantee you will be admitted to a group even if you register, since space is limited, and a particular group may be full.  The sooner you express your interest in joining a group, the better your chances of being accommodated.
